On (soft) limestone pebble immersed in calcareous soil and bryophytes in an old limestone quarry.
Forming a thin, minutely cracked grey green thallus with black epruinose apothecia not immersed into the substrate.
Hymenium ~80-82 µm tick. Epihymenium pigmented. Subhymenium faint ochre to unpigmented.

Hemiamyloid reaction to IKI/Lugol blue to red
The pictures show Lugols solution diffusing in from the right side with a gradual colour change from light blue to reddish-brown.
