They compete in regulation drill, focusing on basic, precise movements, as well as exhibition routines where creativity and advanced rifle skills are showcased. Known for being the flashiest drill team, DTWA routines highlight finesse, coordination, and energy. Physical fitness is important for team members, and cadets who participate in three or more drill events earn the Drill Team ribbon.
