The Frontline Staff serves as the leadership team of the Milpitas High School NJROTC Unit. Together, these cadets ensure that all operations, activities, and administrative functions run smoothly while upholding the highest standards of discipline, teamwork, and excellence. Each department plays a vital role in the success of the unit.
Commanding Officer
The Commanding Officer is the senior cadet leader responsible for overseeing the entire unit. They set the vision, lead by example, and ensure that all departments work together effectively. The CO represents the unit at official functions and maintains communication between cadets and instructors.
Executive Officer
The Executive Officer serves as the second-in-command, assisting the Commanding Officer in managing daily operations. The XO supervises department heads, coordinates meetings, and ensures all tasks and events are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Senior Enlisted Leader
The Senior Enlisted Leader acts as the bridge between the officers and enlisted cadets. They uphold standards of discipline, morale, and professionalism, ensuring that all cadets maintain NJROTC’s high expectations in conduct and appearance.
The Operations Department plans, organizes, and executes all NJROTC events, including training sessions, drill meets, ceremonies, and community service activities. They handle event coordination and logistics to ensure every operation runs smoothly.
The Supply Department maintains and tracks all uniforms, gear, and equipment used by the unit. They ensure proper inventory management, accountability, and distribution of all NJROTC property.
The Administration Department manages unit records, attendance, correspondence, and personnel documentation. They ensure that all reports and files are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
The Public Affairs Department promotes the unit’s activities and achievements through photography, social media, and newsletters. They highlight cadet accomplishments and strengthen NJROTC’s connection with the school and community.
