How do we recognize our cadets?
To boost company morale and encourage our cadets to continually strive for excellence, we recognize outstanding performance through our Cadet of the Month and Cadet of the Week awards.
CADET OF THE MONTH
Each Platoon Commander submits the name of a cadet they believe has demonstrated outstanding performance to the frontline staff by the end of the month. From there, frontline staff and instructors make the final selection. There is both a Junior Cadet of the Month (8th Grade Program) and a High School Cadet of the Month.
For their outstanding work, the selected cadet receives a Navy hoodie, Navy sweatpants, the COTM Ribbon, and a spot promotion.
CADET OF THE WEEK
Cadet of the Week is a way to recognize cadets for their hard work on a smaller, more frequent scale. Frontline staff select the cadet they believe went above and beyond during that week. This applies to both 8th graders and High School Cadets.
The Cadet of the Week receives a Navy hoodie along with an Instagram post dedicated to them.
