BRIEF OVERVIEW
Milpitas High School NJROTC is a leadership development program sponsored by the United States Navy. Our mission is to build responsible, confident, and service-minded young leaders.
Participation does not require military enlistment.
MISSION
The mission of NJROTC is to develop informed, responsible citizens through leadership education, character development, and service to the community. The program emphasizes discipline, teamwork, and accountability while preparing students for success in college and future careers.

In this program, we instill the values of honor, courage, and commitment into our cadets.
WHAT MAKES OUR PROGRAM STAND OUT? (Compared to other school programs)
Our unit is student-led, giving cadets hands-on leadership experience by managing departments, planning events, and leading their peers.
We offer multiple competitive teams that challenge cadets physically and mentally, building teamwork and resilience.
Our cadets actively serve the school and local community through ceremonies, service projects, and public events.
While we compete and strive for excellence, our primary focus is on developing character, confidence, and lifelong leadership skills.
We are one of the two JROTCs in the Bay Area!
We are not just a unit, but a family.
