MASTER CHIEF JAMES WHITNEY

Master Chief Whitney joined Milpitas High School NJROTC in 2024, bringing a powerhouse of experience from a 24-year Navy career (1994–2019) specializing in Talent Acquisition Management. Following his military retirement, he spent years in the corporate world mentoring over 200 analysts as an HR Partner at Accenture, and later managing a 75+ person team overseeing Meta’s Bay Area Facilities Operations.

An avid lifelong learner, Master Chief Whitney holds an AA in Digital Filmmaking, a BS in Business Management, and an MBA from DeVry University's Keller Graduate School of Management. His unique blend of elite military leadership, corporate expertise, and high-level education is an invaluable asset to our unit.
