Microtrullius

This genus, which holds only M. uncinatus, is restricted to Tanzania, and is available only occasionally from select sellers in Europe.

Standard millipede care seems sufficient for this species, though there is very limited information available and no reports of captive breeding.

M. uncinatus has a black body interspersed with silky, highly reflective (almost sparkling in some photos) ridges, and bright yellow legs and antenna. It reaches to approximately 6"/15.2 cm, and is similar in behavior to Otostreptus stylifer according to one report. It carries a species of commensal mite according to the same report, similar to A. gigas and Acladocricus sp.
