V-MTI Champion Award

The V-MTI determined the Champion Award winning team through a SKYSTONE Skills Test.  The winning team received a grant, trophy, a $500.00 goBILDA Store credit and goBILDA promo items.  The top three teams' name and number will be inscribed on the base of the MTI Perpetual Trophy Cup.

The live Skills Tests were monitored by experienced SKYSTONE referees who scored the results of the teams' tests.  These live, one team matches were recorded.

The teams' SKYSTONE Skills Test videos can be seen HERE.

Below are the highest scores for each team who completed the V-MTI SKYSTONE Skills Test.  The FTC scoring system is not designed for solo matches therefore an accommodation had to be made.   From the V-MTI Skills Test Procedures: "To ensure penalties matter, the opposing alliance (the alliance without any teams) will start with 4 major and 4 minor points, giving 100 points to the competing team. As the competing team commits penalties, the appropriate penalty will be deducted from the opposing alliance, removing points from the competing team’s score. Earning more than 4 major and 4 minor penalties will be considered Egregious Behavior."

Note: Not all V-MTI teams could conduct a Skills Test.  They did not have access to their robot/field due to Covid-19 closures.  These teams could not participate in the Champion Award competition but they did compete for the Judged Awards
