The mission of the Maryland Tech Invitational (MTI) is to bring together FIRST® Tech Challenge (FTC) teams from the region, nation and around the world who have demonstrated excellence in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) for a high quality competitive tournament.
The MTI is committed to supporting FTC teams' continuation in the program. This is achieved by offering cash and in-kind awards to be used by teams in the following season. Since its inception in 2017, the MTI has donated approximately $36,000 to support FTC Teams. We sincerely thank our Sponsors and Supporters for making this possible!
The MTI also supports FTC students' exploration of STEM careers by providing a STEM Exposition, an Intern Networking Program and NEW for 2023 - the Stanley Black & Decker MTI Trade School Scholarship!
MTI Merch Shop
MTI 2023 team products are now available! You can easily customize products. Add the list of 2023 teams, your team name, logos, dates to the sleeves, backs and hoods of apparel or to accessories as desired.
You may also create different products than the ones already in the MTI shop. Looking for a MTI poster, a bandana for your dog, a phone case? You can make one!
Just select the Customize option in the shop menu or select the pencil on any product page to fire up the editing tool. Select the Design option to bring up the MTI logos and 2023 team list.
Note - the MTI logo is trademarked so should not be altered. All proceeds go to supporting the MTI. Thank you!
There will be NO merchandise sold at the competition. It is only available at our online shop.
