These terms and condition will always be referenced to during people challenging me to certain things that violate this, please note that references may be correct within the UK. A certain portion of the people out there will challenge me with regards to the jurisdiction of these rules. This is referenced in the FAQ section, which is further down.
I personally really like rules, I think they make things safer and more fun for everyone, as they define the boundaries which must not be broken. If you break these boundaries, expect the consequences. That's life really.
Max Playle may use these against you at any point whilst online, in person or on business contract internationally.
Appendix 1 - Rules you must abide by
Section 1 - Use of social media
My use of social media is broad, and I do have the right to post about whatever I like unless restricted by either instinct or law. I do keep to the policies mentioned under Policy A1AA1 (Social Media Guidelines) including I will not post if the body of text includes discrimination, racism, or bad language (without good reason when cases involve the use of bad language, and bad language only) and will at the most of times keep the same policies to my personal accounts as well as business ones. Please note that any time should I find something offensive, I will contact you in the same way I would expect you to contact me if you had a problem with one of my posts. Please note that the Takedown Request section also applies to all social media, and if you do not know what to do - I ask that you contact me using the utilities on the Contacts section provided on this web site. Should I not be available, if contacting by phone please leave a voicemail with your email address (using phonetic alphabet) so I can email you back. Please expect an email within 10-12 days, thus making it quicker to use the Takedown request section on the home page of this web site. My use of social media is mostly to inform my following of recent activities, and on my personal account I may post information about news (once again, if you do not agree to this posting or think the news is fake, report it to me and I will do my best to sort it)
Section 2 - Behaviour within the reporting process
If you report something to me, I expect you to be polite - this isn't me thinking good of myself, I just believe that if you want somebody to do something for you, you should treat that person with the respect and decency, else you really cannot expect them to do that thing for you at all, can you? "Please be nice to me" sounds a little immature, I know. Although contact between human beings should be a pleasurable experience (not in a weird sense) but it should not be something everybody dreads. I will treat you with the decency and respect you deserve, although on the condition that I get that same level of respect back. If you do not show anybody respect, I kindly request that you do not contact me.
Section 3 - My online activities
As most of you will know having stumbled across this website, and hopefully having browsed some other pages and you (in the unlikely case) haven't just come for the terms and conditions page, you may need something else in your life if this is the case! I post to YouTube and to other social platforms on a regular basis. The videos on these platforms belong to me, unless very clearly otherwise specified. If you have any queries or want to use one of my videos, or part of one of my videos or other media within your own project, you are more than welcome to (within reason) however I do request that a link to my channel and my website is put in the Description Box (if on YouTube) and on the respective other box (sometimes known as 'Show Notes'). This isn't a legal requirement, just a friendly request. But hey-ho if you don't; I guess I can't do much really can I?
Much like the terms outlined in Section 1, if you find anything I post on any platform offensive in any way - please contact me by any available means necessary, I upload on these platforms, because: I enjoy doing it, and I want to make sure I can entertain or inform other people, who come to my social platforms for the content I offer. If you find anything offensive, intrusive or abusive please immediately submit a take down request as well as emailing me on maxplayle04@gmail.com. This way, the issue can be resolved as quickly as possible. Do however note, that take down requests which I deem as hoax, unreasonable or not required will not be acted upon, and the media which was reported will remain online.
Section 4 - My enforcement policies
You would expect this to be in the policies section, however I believe it is more important then the policies section since this page is further up, it is also a term so you can expect a sanction from me should you violate one of these rules. My enforcement policies are simple and so they are allowed to be. No, I am not a (fully trained) enforcer of the law and therefore cannot impose legal action for a simple violation listed on a Google Sites page, and I would have no intention (even if I could) of doing so. I simply want to make all reading aware that I will not stand for abuse, normally nobody would. And I may choose to report you to whoever deems appropriate. If this be out of the workplace, the Police may be notified. Now, to get everybody on the right path, I am not going to call 999 and request an immediate Armed Forces airstrike on you, because that would be (not only not possible, but) way too far. I would like to make everybody aware also that work will not be completed until payment is cleared and received (where it is due) and I will refuse, under my legal right to do some thing should I believe it is deemed as inappropriate, under guidance of the law. I will use the law and the UK justice system against you should I feel that is necessary.
My enforcement policies go as follows:
For abuse, You may be disconnected from a group or blocked. Worst case: The police would be notified
Failure to receive payment for work: You may be blocked, and payment would be expected by direct debit. I will make every attempt to work with you, and the enforcement route I chose to go down will depend on:
How you behave towards myself or my colleagues
How you respond upon notification of the debt or failed payment
If you chose to try and resolve the issue straight away
Your attitude to myself or my colleagues.
Section 5 - Conduct in real life
I always conduct myself well in real life, and will not disrespect anybody. At all. No matter what you say to me! If you ever see me out in the street, please don't be afraid to come and say Hello! I don't bite! However, that comes with a few ground rules as well:
If you disrespect me, that will be dealt with (by the Police or another appropriate authority) - much like they will be informed for disrespectful comments made on the Internet, too!
If you disrespect a body I represent, or anybody I am with, that will by dealt with (by the Police or another authority)
If you touch myself or anybody around me without my/their consent, the Police will be immediately summoned for an Emergency Response.
Section 6 - Relation to social media
Social media is an excellent tool nowadays for communicating with a following you have, small or large. These tools can lead to mistakes being made and if so, I will expect that you wish to deal with them without shouting, or physically should I know you in person. *Appropriate action will be taken upon should appointments involving work would be made for reason of supporting an argument caused elsewhere.*
Even if you are a close friend or family member, I no longer require you to come to me in person to alert me to something that needs my attention, instead for consistency reasons - I request that you submit a Takedown form, using the homepage of my website as a starting point.
Appendix 2 - FAQ
Q: Where do these rules apply?
A: There is no set jurisdiction for where these rules apply, as they can apply anywhere in the world. Instances where abuse occurs online towards myself or anyone I know, will be dealt with just as seriously as they would locally.
Answer put simply: Most of these rules apply internationally, however the rules highlighted in multiple sections which uses pieces of UK legislation only apply in the UL. This doesn't mean you'll get away with breaking these terms if you're not in the UK.
Q: Who will be notified if these rules are broken?
A: It really depends on which rules are broken, and in what circumstance. These rules can be enforced via intensive (or common sense) as well as what is ascribed in contractual text above, meaning that it is up to myself or the person enforcing the rules as to who is notified, and who isn't. For example: a minor violation may be a civil dispute, whereas deliberately failing to pay a bill for a service I provide you may involve the police or a debt recovery agency, such as DCBL.
