Command Overview
mmbot/purge: Purge
mmbot/purge: Purge
MaxBot's purge command has been recently rewritten to make it more feature rich, and more "complete". It now:
Will not delete messages if they are pinned
Can only delete messages from a particular user
Note: Due to Discord's limitations, only messages less than two weeks old can be deleted by a Bot.
Can be disabled? Yes
User : Administrator
Bot : Administrator
mmbot/purge [int: number of messages to delete] <@mention: delete-specific>
mmbot/clean [int: number of messages to delete] <@mention: delete-specific>
Command example: mmbot/purge 10
This command will purge (delete) the 10 most recent messages within that particular channel. MaxBot will now ignore messages that are pinned by admins, and will not delete them.
WARNING (Known Issue): This command will crash if within 10 messages, there is a system message, such as a notification that somebody has joined/left the server, or an admin has pinned a message.
Command example: mmbot/purge 10 @maxplayle
This command will purge (delete) the 10 most recent messages within that channel that are written by @maxplayle04. MaxBot will still ignore messages that have been pinned by admins, and will not delete them.
