Communication is at the heart of relationships; without healthy communication it is hard to develop empathy, trust or to support the other. As male-identified folks, communicating about our or other's emotions may be even harder, because it requires being "vulnerable" and "soft", qualities that our society does not always encourage in men.
Why is it important for you to talk about emotions? What are your challenges and barriers in talking about emotions, or listening to other folks' emotions?
This is an interactive workshop, where the participants are encouraged to identify their questions, and bring their own experiences and wisdom to the group. The facilitators will tie the conversation together and keep it on track, and will offer some suggestions for tools, tips and tricks.
