Project Description

Mobile application developed for iOS and Android. This app has been developed by a mixed-team which includes people from Madrid (Spain), Viseu and Tomar (Portugal) and Nicosia (Cyprus). Additionally, the team included staff from IBM, Softinsa and Bank Of Cyprus. The app is focused on retail and business clients.

The principal functionalities implemented in the mobile app are the following:

• Bank account information and balances, allowing to setup aliases.

• Money transfers to Bank Of Cyrpus accounts, or 3rd party bank accounts, including SEPA and SWIFT.

• Aggregation of bank accounts from 3rd parties and OpenBanking transfers.

• ATMs and offices locator integrated with Google Maps.

• One Span Digipass SDK included for securing bank operations with OTPs.

• Push notifications.

• Quick Pay transfers which allow sending money to a mobile number associated account.

• Pending transactions approval.

• Biometric access with fingerprint, TouchID os FaceID.

• Bills payment.

• Credit and debit card information and exchange rates calculator.

What I've done

• Lead the Android and iOS development teams.

• Defined the APIs which support the mobile application.

• Collaborated on implementing the strong infosecurity mechanisms.

• Defined the architectural solution from mobile app perspective.

• Collaborated on app design.

• Participated on recurrent follow-up sessions with customer and report progress, status and technical advice.

• Deployed mobile apps to the public markets.
