Uniform
Police uniforms can be obtained from the locker room inside any police station. You may only wear your uniform whilst you are on duty.
Uniform is important to portray a professional service and should be worn with pride.
As a Probationary Police Constable you only have to access a limited amount of clothing in the locker room, however, as you progress within the Los Santos Police Service you will be given access to a wider variety of clothing options.
Patrol Uniform

The Patrol uniform is the uniform you should wear on a day-to-day basis and consist of:
Hat: Frontline Police Custodian | Police Cap (Operations Only)
Top: Police Polo/ Soft Shell Jacket (Officers Preference)
Vest: Black Stab Vest (Normal Patrols)
High Visibility Stab Vest (Traffic Patrols/ Operations)
Trousers: Black Trousers
Footwear: Black Boots
Belt: Service Belt
Accessories: BWV and Radio
Formal Uniform
Formal Uniform
The formal uniform should only be worn for special occasions such as attending court, attending a disciplinary hearing/meeting, or an event with the permission of Police Command.
HAT: Frontline Police Hat
Top: Formal Uniform
Vest: No Vest
Trousers: Black Trousers
Footwear: Black Boots
Belt: No Belt

Equipment
Equipment
The Police Service has access to a wide range of equipment all of which can be accessed from the armory inside a police station. Although there is a lot of equipment available to a probationary officer not all of it is required however certain items are mandatory when going out on patrol:

§ 1 PNC
§ 1 Terminal Repair Kit
§ 1 Warrant Card
§ 1 ASP
§ 1 Flashlight
§ 1 Scissors
§ 6-10 Evidence Bags
§ 2-4 Search Records
§ 1 Handcuffs
§ 1 Medbag
§ 1 Camera
§ 1 Bodycam
In Addition to this mandatory equipment, it is recommended you take the following out also:
§ 4 Bandages
§ 4 Armor
§ Repair kits
§ 2 Collection of Cones
§ 2 Eye Wash
§ Binoculars
§ Food and Drink
§ ID Card
It is worth noting that all equipment has an associated cost and the police only have a limited budget so don't take more equipment than you require.
