Quick Reference Sheet

1. Inform the Suspect they're under arrest;

2. Suspect should be given the "When Questioned Caution";

3. Suspect should be Informed the grounds for arrest;

4. Suspect should be informed the necessity for arrest. 

You do not have to say anything, but it may harm your defence if you do not mention, when questioned, something which you later rely on in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence.

1. Inform the Suspect they're going to be receiving a ticket;

2. Suspect should be given the "Now Caution";

3. Explain the options the suspect has to pay the ticket;

4. Issue the Ticket through PNC
