Rules and Changes

Isekai Player Characters:

• Isekai Immortality: Expect to die at least once, my children. It won't end your adventure.

• Otherworld Origins:  All Players come from another world, and all players receive a Background based on their origin world. Their stat boosts can be any two stats of their choosing, based on their chosen Origin. They gain any one (Origin) Lore, and a skill of their choice based on the Origin. They also receive a the skill feat Additional Lore to tap into the Lore knowledge of their new body. For example, the California Mister Universe who got hit by a truck has Strength and Constitution as his stat boosts, Fitness Lore, training in Athletics.

• Stolen Memories: When you die, you will return in a new body, and retain some memories of your previous body, including its class. You receive a free Archetype  [Multiclass] feat of that previous body, but you can only have a single Stolen Memories Archetype active. This can be changed when your new body is chosen.

• Defy Destiny: These champions are destined to inevitable victory.  You receive an extra hero point every session. The GM may allow you to spend Hero Points for additional uses.

Inhabiting a Character

• When an Isekai character dies, their personality will move into a new body.  This will displace any existing personality in that body.

• The player will need to make a new character - claiming a body of another nearby in the story. They have the Ancestry and Class of the body they now inhabit - meaning they won't be able to claim a body from out of the realm.
