This is a sect of the Venatores brotherhood that works in the British Isle Tribunals. They do not have any great secrets, but do desire to steel their members against corruption and evil.
One of the characters in my saga spent too much time studying vis he found was Infernal - far too late. Hhen he came into opposition with the Bishop Orris (Antagonists) in Cornwall, he barely escaped a Wizard's March due to his dedicated pursuit of the Infernal to cleanse and destroy their work. It was after the Tribunal - and his promises to openly share all his research in cleansing the Infernal to the Tribunal - that he was approached by one of the Venatores.
The Initiate makes a sacred vow before a Saint's altar, promising to guide the repentant to the light instead of damning them to hell (Minor ordeal). Conferring with the mystagogue, the initiate is given the location of infernal activity, and is tasked to destroy any demons. The mystagogue will select a known den of trouble where he believes people can be redeemed from Hell. To succeed at his task, he must stop the infernal activity, and bring anyone seeking redemption out(Quest). After the quest is done, the Initiate will meet the mystagogue at the Archdiocese cathedral on All Saint's Day, and reaffirm his vow, solidifying his strength of will.
