The Court of Flowers that surrounds Lariander is ruled by the Queen and adjudicated by her four Dukes. It is a representation of Spring.
The Court's traditions always give the masculine title to their rulers (Prince, Duke, Baron). A Princess is the daughter (or son?) of a Prince. A duchess is the married partner of a Duke, and expected to do most heavy lifting. Any Faerie of Duke ranking will just instantly know any mortal's proper title (as part of their Faerie Speech power).
When courting with the Queen of Flowers, the Faeries are polite and genteel to an extreme, and impossible to get a rise out of them. They lay out a spread of flowers and nectar and vegetarian feasts, but for the most part do not actually ever eat. They do drink heavily, but do not show signs of getting drunk on their own wine.
Queen Rosethorn, whose petals are always in an iridescent rainbow hue. She is slightly androgynous, but more feminine the longer she is studied. She knows everyone's proper title, and any lands they hold..
Her consorts? Poplar, Hollyhock, Sea Holly, Forget-Me-Not.
Lord Clary Meadow, Prince of the North: He is a very French fey, who is exemplifying the current opinions in Provence of the northerners.
Lady Lily-of-the-Valley, Duke of the Mountainside (Grounded, stability, calm)
Princess Aster
Baron Toothwort - He is a parasitic noble, who seeks to create infighting. Thin and colorful, the Baron actually eats a lot.

Lord Ash, Duke of the Stormfront (Intellect, communication, ideas)

Lord Oak Grove, Prince of the South - a gnarled and tall figure, with a mossy beard and leafy hair
Lord Orchid, Duke of Flameset (Passion and Transformation, energy)

The Queen of Flowers was the faerie force protecting the covenant of Lariander. People entering into the faerie forest got lost easily, and often heard voices in the trees. They also recieved a gift of Herbam vis (fae) every Spring. This served them very well until the Albegensian Crusade, when a group of crusaders, led by an annointed knight, sacked their hamlet and burned the visible buildings to the ground. The Queen was unable to stop them, and claims still she did not see them enter her realm at all. To her knowledge, the Magi of Lariander just disappeared.
For their part of the deal, the Magi of Lariander were to keep the Court of Flowers flush with wine and spirits, as well as providing exotic water and bright sunlight during the Autumn (Aquam and Ignem vis, respectively). Furthermore, the Magi of Lariander would take in a young noble every six years, and train them in the art of courtly intrigues. This is usually a young faerie flower scion, though occaisionally it is a tree-scion. Once, they just handed the Magi of Lariander a mortal noble's daughter.
