Quest Battle: Gatebreaker
Description: A symmetrical battlegame with the intent to 'destroy' the enemy's defense gatehouses. Destroying gatehouse increases the speed of enemy spawns. Designed for 7-12 per team.
Setup:
Two bases set up with impassable walls. The players cannot advance into the enemy's base.
Each Base has two 'gatehouses', the goals of the game. Gatehouses should have walls and an entrance facing the outer edges of the field, so neither team has an advantage with angle facing into the gatehouses.
Terrain features for the center to add conflict (suggested, walls, river, bridge)
Each team needs 2 marked flags to use as 'bombs'.
Teams: 1:1
Spawn Timer: 40 seconds default. Reduced to 20 seconds if one of your team's towers is destroyed.
Rules:
The goal is to break the enemy's gates with your bombs.
To charge a bomb, it must be primed in your own base with Charge x5
To destroy a gatehouse, you need 2 people touching a gatehouse with charged bombs, and use the Charge x3 to destroy the gate. If a gate is destroyed, both bomb carriers are sent out of game with their bombs to return to base.
A bomb must be carried in a free hand. It does not count as a free hand. Being killed while carrying a flag removes its charge, it must be returned to base and re-charged.
Bombs cannot be charged with powers or relics. You cannot interact with the enemy's bombs.
To Win: Destroy the enemy gates with 'bombs'.
