Being Giant-blooded and bound to the earth, this magus tends to think big, learning earth magic.

New Spells:

Inevitable Landslide of Binding Mud CrTe[Re] 15

R: Voice, D: Diam, T: Ind

With a wave of the hand, a wave of mud cascades from the chosen point and in the direction of the choosing. The mud cannot slide up a significant hill, but the sheer mass of it lets it move past lesser slopes. The mud bursts from the ground in a ten-pace wide wall and washes over the landscape like a slimy catastrophe, extending out another ten paces, piled as high as a man's navel. The initial wave of mud does +3 damage to anyone caught within it, and they must make a Strength+Size roll of 6+ or be knocked prone by the wave. A few seconds after the cascade of sticky earth, the mud hardens into a rough-baked clay. This clay is firm enough to hold a man moving carefully, but anyone trapped can escape with an action and a Strength roll of 9+, or 12+ if they're fallen over.

Ward Against Earthen Legends (ReTe 15)

R: Touch, D: Ring, T: Circle

An invisible barrier protects those within the ring from earth-aligned creatures of Magical Might 15 or less. The magical creatures cannot directly or indirectly cross or break the magic circle, nor used ranged attacks or magic to affect those within.

Talisman: Pillar of the Earth

This is an enchanted oaken staff, standing ten feet tall when on end and thick around it can't be carried by a normal man. It has a bronze cap on one end of it, and iron on the other. It functions as a massive staff when weielded by someone of stature and strength to do so. It has been opened for 8 pawns of vis, and only used 3 pawns. The magus has plans to do a lot more, but decided having a safe place to stay in his explorations was his first priority. The talisman grants the magus a +4 to magic controlling things at a distance, and a +3 to terram magic.

Conjure the Giant's Hovel (CrTe 22)

R: Touch, D: Sun, T: Ind

This effect conjures a massive stone hovel, big enough for the giant-blooded magus and two or three companions to rest comfortably. The single-room building is a massive slab of stone, hollow in the center, with an open doorway and surprisingly clever venting above to let smoke out without letting water in. It has a hollow in the center for a firepit, and two huge slabs of stone jutting out for sitting or sleeping upon. The magus usually drapes his leather cloak over the doorway to keep out the weather, on pegs sticking out of the surface.
