Lithia of House Merinita
Hermetic Name: Lithia ex Merinita
From Rhine, Normandy, Novgorod, Roman Tribunals
Reputation: Skilled author on Terram and Mountain Faeries 3 (Hermetic)
Preferred Topics: Terram, Faerie Lore
Lithia was a troll-blooded woman who was regarded as a feared maga during her time. Her dangerous appearance and blatant Gift made few want to deal with her, but the woman herself was subdued when she was out of her native elements. Lithia became a travelling loner, who often stopped at Merinita-held covenants to rest, where she would write and trade her books. She was dedicated to exploring the lives and powers of trolls, giants, and other mountain faeries. The dwarf-blooded apprentice she took was handed to another Merinita before she died. Giants, Bones of the Mountain by Lithia of House Merinita, Magic Lore tractatus in Latin, Quality 12
Perhaps as some kind of prank, Lithia wrote numerous tractati in her travels that all held the exact same title. Lithia wrote a version for Magic Lore as well as two versions of Faerie lore (focusing on giants and on troll), and three tractati on Terram. It was two decades after her death that the angered covenants finally began to discover that the weren't all sold copies of the same book. A Bonisagus who read all of the books has theorized that the action was done as an Ordeal or Quest for a faerie Mystagoge in the Alps.
Vis Cycles in the Mountain's Heart by Lithia of House Merinita, Faerie Lore tractatus in Latin, Quality 12
This tome was part of Lithia's studies into how vis was formed in Faerie regios and auras. It discusses how Faerie vis forms in regios controlled by powerful faeries, and how it forms in auras uncontrolled by a faerie lord.
Studies on the Origin of Faerie Power by Lithia of House Merinita, Faerie Lore tractatus in Latin, Quality 12
A self-reflective study focused on how Faerie blood manifests in different individuals. It discusses numerous types of faeries and giants, their human-blooded offspring, and changelings. Most notably, it analyzes how Lithia feels that her House puts an undue level of prestige and desire for apprentices with Strong Faerie Blood.
Stone, Mineral, Metal, and Jewel by Lithia of House Merinita, Terram Summae in Latin, Level 20, Quality 13
Lithia wrote this book as a gift to her parens, given before the gigantic Terram maga went on her final adventure. Lithia wrote the book with a slight emphasis on learning, lowering the Level by 1 for a little more quality. This book is regarded by those who read it as a phenomianal and ground-breaking text all the same, but most known copies of this book are transcribed from a damaged text (Level 18, Quality 12)
