Byzantine, xenophobic, strangely honorable. Scattered far from the other colonists, undertaking an exodus in search of a new home, several sprawling clans were united under the prophet Veloth, and have managed to maintain a confederacy for their own protection. (Religious psychoactives, emphasis on mythology over history, strange philosophies and outlooks) This League seems ever ready to make war upon itself, one Great House against another, but somehow they always come together to face their external foes. Despite their initial isolation, Resdayn boasts impressive technological advancement, especially in xenobiology and energy field manipulation. The mechs and infantry of Resdayn have that sturdy bone-mold look to them, with the personal mounts of nobles being based on mythic figures from the days of Veloth.

Regions and Settlements:

• Red Mountain - an extinct volcano that dominates the horizon of Resdayn, also serves as the command and control center for the Sixth House

• Ascadian Isles - lush islands in warm lakes and estuaries, site of Veloth City

• Ashlands - scrubby outback punctuated by semi-active volcanoes

• Sheogorad - rocky archipelagos and stone monoliths in a shallow polar sea 

• Veloth - capitol, a constellation of half-submerged arcologies built over the bay

• Ald'ruhn - city's civic core is built under the shell of an extinct titan crab

• Balmora

• Mournhold - largest city

Military Forces:

• The Sixth House - the joint intelligence and defense agency of Resdayn's great houses; members must forswear their old allegiances, and lose any benefits of membership in the other five Houses

• Buoyant Armigers - gung-ho special forces drawn primarily from House Redoran, and frequently placed under the command of the Sixth House

Notable Figures:

• The Hortator - traditionally an elected war leader, the modern Hortator is the head of the Sixth House, and (nominally) the commander of the combined House militaries during wartime

• Divayth Fyr - engineering savant from House Telvanni, and maker of the most expensive and advanced mech chassis in Resdayn

• Dranoth Hleran - lord administrator of Ald'ruhn; operates from the civic council chambers in the iconic Under-Skar structure
