Monstro Submarine Transport

Little talked about and even more rarely seen, the Monstro is the newest transport sub produced by Atlantis. Officially, it is used for shipping cargo between shallow and deep-water settlements. But its cavernous cargo bay, divided into 4 sections that can each be made watertight, can hold an entire squad of the largest mechs, or far more of the smaller models. Additionally, each bay can be modified with a pressurized egress point on the floor, to allow Atlantean mechs to drop directly into the water, where they may walk along the sea floor or use maneuvering units to jet around independently. Because the Monstro lacks any armament or defensive systems, military-use versions rely on escort subs for protection.
