A kingdom, once part of the Five-Star League, that separated from the League just ahead of the Kodan War. Minegarde, more than any other early settlement, was beset with hostile megafauna, to the point that "hunting monsters" became the focal point of their military development. Having nearly driven many species to extinction, they are now one of the most conservationist leagues. Their modern military is based on their old Guild of Hunters, with mechs that are decorated to honor the great beasts of the region. Their ace pilots are sometimes permitted to hunt megafauna, and incorporate the spoils of the hunt into their mechs.
Regions and Settlements:
Dundorma - capitol city, notable for its mighty walls and well-preserved city core
Schrade - restricted area, former capitol, destroyed in a mysterious cataclysm
Port Tanzia - primary maritime port, renowned vacation spot
Loc Lac/Val Habar - trade hub and caravan outpost along the Kharak desert
Harth - mining and industrial center
Gildegaran
Mezeporta
Astera - transoceanic research outpost established in cooperation with Atlantis

Military Forces:
The Hunters - elite armored infantry and mech pilots. Equipped with standard CHaIN (Combat Harness and Interface Net) hardsuits, but with high latitude for personalization. Specialists may select livery upgrades, both for their hardsuits and mechs. Konchu (defense), Zinogre (recon), and Rathalos (assault) are the most common specialties. Trained for teamwork, and comfortable switching between mounted and dismounted as required.
The Handlers - general-purpose support corps for the Hunters. Provide intel, maintenance, transport, and other needed services. Uniforms are similar to those for Hunters, including assorted liveries, but with minimal armor to emphasize rear-echelon role.
The Guard - conventional security force of troops who could not or would not qualify as Hunters. Garbed in uniform combat armor, equipped with standardized weapons. Act as garrison troops to defend Minegarde settlements. Some members are able to re-qualify for the Hunters at a later date. Relation with Hunter corps is professional, but tense.
Notable Figures:
Elders - elected adjudicators and representatives for settlements, they serve long terms in office, and participate in councils with other Elders to determine settlement and national policy
