Universal Language Interpreter (ULI)

This device, which can be implanted in one’s neck and ears, functions to automatically translate languages, and make intercommunication easier. There are thousands of languages within the ULI system, and one isn’t likely to find a language not on it. Being independent from any one government makes it easy for anyone to upload their own language to the ULI system. The ULI system is widespread across the galaxy and uses a special frequency that is hard to scramble. This does not however mean it is impossible.

Machinery:

C-torem

The C-torem is a machine that produces food. Using vast amounts of energy and quantum technology, the C-torem creates edible food. The food is adaptable and can be used for many purposes, those who exclusively, or mostly eat C-torem food have created cuisines using it. Despite the convenience of the C-torem, hand-made food is always culinarily preferred.

Deorum (Commonly; D-M)

The Deorum is a machine that can create. If fed raw material and proper schematics it will create whatever you want it to. This revolutionary technology has been used to create amazing things. This technology requires vast amounts of energy, and the raw materials needed for its creations.

Medical:

Vificant

The Vificant is a medical technology that can regenerate organic tissue. This technology is revolutionary in that it can save people from terrible injuries.

Shipcraft Technology:

Soliton Particle Hyper Drive (Commonly; SPH Drive, or, FTL Drive)

The SPH Drive is a drive for a ship’s engine. With this installed a ship can travel faster than light. This technology makes traversing the quadrant much easier, and much more convenient. These Drives can be as small as an apple, or as big as a house. Bigger ships need bigger SPH Drives to properly function, and bigger SPH Drives means even faster speeds, and shorter travel times. The energy exerted by large SPH Drives are enough to tear some ships apart, so it is necessary that SPH drives are fitted in accordance to ship size and structure.

Small Arms:

Laser Emitting Weapon (Commonly; LEW)

The LEW, found in rifle and pistol format, is a weapon that uses lasers. The LEW emits small beams of lasers towards its target when the trigger is pulled. These beams are focused and can cause a lot of damage. The LEW is best used at longer ranges.

Plasma Blasting Weapon (Commonly; PBW)

The PBW is found predominantly in rifle form, as it is difficult to create a smaller reliable version. The PBW fires a circular mass of plasma towards its target. A line can be drawn from the primitive “shotgun” to this weapon. It is best used at short range, and it can damage a wide area. When struck at short range this weapon is deadly. From longer ranges, it causes severe energy burns, but one will survive.

Communication Systems:

Soliton Particle Communication Satellite (Commonly; SPC Satellite)

These satellites, using the same technology as SPH Drives, are able to send communications at speeds faster than light. Most civilizations have massive satellite systems in order to send their communications across the entire quadrant. Some massive satellites are even able to send signals from one corner of the quadrant to the other. These satellites can be vulnerable during wars, and are high priority targets in cripping a civilization.

Teleportation Technology:

Personnel Matter Transporter (PMT, or Commonly; Teleporter)

The PMT can be used to dematerialize a person, and materialize them at another location. For this to function, a PMT must be present at both locations. PMTs can commonly be found on ships, space stations, ground bases, and government buildings. The PMTs make it easy to move between spacecraft, and to move people onto planets from above.

Cargo Matter Transporter (CMT, or Commonly; Cargo Teleporter)

CMTs are used to dematerialize and materialize cargo from one location to another. Like PMTs, CMTs must be present at both locations. These are much larger than CMTs, and take more energy, as they are required to teleport larger amounts of matter. CMTs are found commonly in freighters, space stations, and on planets in cargo bays.

Colossal Matter and Data Transporter (Commonly; Gateway)

Gateways are a massive version of the PMTs and CMTs, and can be used for moving anything between planets, and systems. This technology would make FTL technology obsolete. As of now, this technology has not been discovered, and likely won't be for a very long time.
