The human race is a very standard one. They have no powers, no special abilities, they are simply human. They live predominantly in the UNG, the Confederation, and the Free Trade Alliance. After the split up of the UNG, you can find many paranoid of spies from one of the other 2 human dominated civilizations.
The Valin are a humanoid species, who look similar to humans but with larger ears and sharper eyes. The Valin have been fighting for independence for almost their entire existence, so one shouldn’t be too surprised if they’re bitter. Many Valin fled to the UNG as refugees, with some even climbing the ranks of InterFleet.
The Treyse are humanoid species that are tall and a grayish color. The Treyse come from the capitalof the Dominion, Yotis, as well as Vedillion, Daedra, Cuvis, Lau, and Alras. Many of them are known to be bigoted, and look down on others as primitive. Their Dominion having gone almost unopposed for centuries causes them to act arrogant, and invincible.
Agarthans are cyclops like people, with only one eye. They are almost all part of the Agarthan religion, and most are fundamentalists. The most extreme of them will fight what they deem ‘heretics’, but the majority just look down on ‘non-believers’ and might even try to convert them.
The Trion AI is a hivemind machine. Trion can range from being humanoid, to being entire ships of themselves. Some have been known to be severed from the hivemind. Not many instances of this have occurred, but those robots who it has happened to have always become obsessed with something, as a way to fill in the gaps of their missing directive.
The Thaltan are short and have almost white skin. Most are bigots, and do not take kindly to other races. The few who are more liberal, are still known to hold onto prejudices. Not many of them leave Thalta, the majority of those who do leave because of exile.
The Yhani are close to humans, with the most notable external difference being 6 fingered hands. There is only one sex in the Yhani species, they have same sex reproduction. The Yhani are a calm people, but are very firm when it comes to the worship of their Empress. If you insult the Empress you will see the rage of a Yhani. They are from the systems of Yhana, Monos, Ritia, Epra, Yankiter, Ecuna, and Suna.
The Gra’n, from She’gra, are warriors like people. They’re main principles are honor, courage, and spirit. They are known to be accepting of other races, as long as they meet the principles of the Gra’n. It’s not uncommon for a Gra’n to attempt to duel another person to regain their honor when they consider it lost.
The Striith are predominantly from the Strip, mostly from the capital and surrounding systems, and they are known to be excellent diplomats. Their charisma and talking ability allows them to convince people quite easily. They always try to avoid conflict, and will always take the side that betters themselves.
The Syltian people come from a utopian state, and are known to be out of touch. They are rather calm, but can get defensive in conflict. Many Syltians have prejudices about other races without considering that they are prejudices. They can often offend others without realizing they have done it.
The Baylen people are a minority within the Dominion, coming from the system Dao.They are a very spiritual people, and are very in touch with emotion. Those who train enough are said to be able to almost sense emotion. To them this ability is sacred, and is to be used only for good, but there is room for maliciousness there. If abusing the power correctly, the Baylen can be excellent manipulators. Not many Baylen left are known to possess this gift, as they are under the constant oppression from the Dominion.
The Tayle are strong, bulky people who are excellent in heavy labor. They have a strong work ethic and will dedicate their lives to their jobs. They were an agricultural people before their systems of Gayde and Goria were conquered by the Dominion. Since then they have been subjected to hard labor, and form a large part of the Dominion Economy.
The Dall come from Palara, a system in the South of the Alliance of the Strip. The Dall are very short people with a quick temper. They are known to be manipulative and conniving.They can be very charismatic and are very good at scams. The vast majority of them go into business, and most don’t go to such extremes as scamming. However they’ve gained that reputation and most are wary to do business with them.
The Ujjikan are a minority species in the UNG and the Confederation, with heavy sympathies toward the Confederation. They reside in the systems of Nalia, Caygalia, Ney, Imone, and Crora. They have slimy pink skin and forehead ridges. A peaceful but resourceful people, they prefer using dialogue and diplomacy to solve their issues, but are willing to use violence if push comes to shove. They are a prideful but patient and compromising people, accepting but mostly unforgiving. Many are reasonable, many are very impassioned and blinded by it. Their movements to break off from the UNG have no doubt been the source of a lot of tension in the Centre region of the UNG, many calling it a powder keg ready to blow.
Very small furry white people with light blue faces, the Finks originate from a Type I civilization near the Alliance of the Strip. To those outside the Alliance, they are unheard of, and to those in the strip, they are little more than legends, known for their incredibly advanced genetic engineering technology. One Fink in particular, Uklenttot, is an infamous poison salesman in the Alliance of the Strip. Finks are generally not welcoming to other races, but are not hostile either. They also have four fingers on each hand. The Finks are a humble people.
The Co’ocoon are very small furry people, often categorized in two main types: Nocturnal and Diurnal. Diurnal Co’ocoon have dark green fur and long tails, and are generally regarded as more extroverted. Nocturnal Co’ocoon have sand-colored fur and stubby tails and long claws, and are generally regarded as more introverted. The Co’ocoon are friendly but suspicious of others. They also have three fingers on each hand. The Co’ocoon are very typically very confident and a little arrogant, having possibly a little too much faith in themselves.
The Maantur can best be described as traveling merchants. They originate from Ei, a system within the Alliance of the Strip. The Maantur are shorter than humans, and have orange, claylike skin. The Maantur are a no-nonsense people, what they tell you is true, and their products are exactly as advertised. They have built a reputation of being fine traders, the problem is they’ve moved to their next destination by the time you need them. They tend to avoid conflict, as they are relatively weak, but they won't hesitate to blast you with a Plasma Blaster if it’s necessary.
The Cellator are a militarized species found in Karas, a system within the Alliance of the Strip. The Cellator are tall people, with generally broad shoulders, and scaly white skin. The Cellator have a tendency towards conflict, and can often be found getting into arguments, and brawls. The Cellator people often sell weapons, and are the military hub of the Alliance of the Strip. Their people joined the Alliance, when military provisions were made.
The Suulum are a species found in Toli, a system in the Alliance of the Strip. The Suulum are tall and skinny people that are relatively weak. The Suulum try to avoid conflict at all cost, sometimes to a negative degree. The Suulum are science based people, and have incredible technology. They are seen as the scientific center of the Strip, and are an incredibly valuable part of the Strip.
The Shurra are a species found in the West of the Empire of Yhana in the system of Scymtar . The Shurra can be classified as a reptilian people, with green scaly skin. The Shurra are native to very humid environments, and are prone to become dehydrated quickly outside of their home system. In combat the Shurra tends towards hand to hand combat, with sharp weapons. The Shurra are seen as untrustworthy, but in reality they have done nothing to deserve this reputation.
The Boator are a people found in the South of the Dominion of Treysaria in the systems of Vumara and Yaonis. The Boator are hairless people, with smooth light blue skin. The Boator are known to be excellent manufacturers, and take pride in their work. The Boator can be very abrasive to outsiders, and aren’t often open to new ideas. The Boator are used as the main manufacturers and engineers within the Dominion.
The Simiimeks are a people found in the centre of the Alliance of the Strip, hailing from Lenkas. They are of average height and have thick skulls. They are covered in magenta scales with deep purple stripes stretching from their shoulders to their feet. Children do not have stripes, and developing them is considered a rite of passage among Simiimeks. Simiimeks are galaxy-renowned artisans and craftsmen but are also known for being sleazy merchants without honor or morals. They are accommodating and hospitable and indiscriminate. They are willing to help anyone no matter their background or their intentions.
The Zollens are mysterious in appearance. Very few have seen them without their special suits and helmets, and those who have refuse to share their appearance out of respect. The Zollens hail from the Zollo system, having also colonized Viona, Drixa, and Gha. They are known to be impassionate people with fiery spirits, yet also logical and calculated. They willingly joined the Empire of Yhana after its growth neared their borders. They are very commonly employed as guards and police and enlisted in the Yhanian army. Some claim it is a ploy, that they only care about other Zollens, but most believe in their insisted loyalty toward Yhana and her empire.
The Ni’tect are a species that developed advanced technology with their biology, and have been able to create personality construct chips and synthetic bodies. Hundreds of years ago the Ni’tect downloaded themselves onto constructs, and had them inserted into synthetic bodies. This allows them to live for a long time, as they can switch bodies when theirs gives out. The Ni’tect come from the Ictorum system, and have their own nation, the Ni’tect alliance. Within the Ictorum system there are 8 planets, and they have colonized 5 of them. The Ni’tect originate from two of the planets, and were originally 3 different species. The transition to synthetic bodies made them into one official species. There are still noticeable cultural differences between the 3 original species of the Ni’tect, but they consider themselves Ni’tect first. The three Ni’tect groups are the Runde, the Barrin, and the Weita.
The Meddlin hail from the systems of Cuvi, Gheo, and Muli, with their home planet in the Gheo system. The Meddlin are a humanoid species with leathery, navy blue skin, small, beady eyes, and pink spots on their cheeks. They evolve on a low-light planet, and are more accustomed to darker environments. The Meddlin are a logical and rational people and known as great farmers, miners, artisans, craftsmen, and leaders. They have a strong culture around food and tend to be unhygenic. However, they are very adaptable and hospitable, and are willing to put in effort to cover their flaws for others.
The Ploic hail from the systems of Vinji, Kzix, and Havyen, with their home planet in the Kzix system. The Ploic are a humanoid species with leathery, navy blue skin, small, beady eyes, and yellow spots on their cheeks. They evolve on a low-light planet, and are more accustomed to darker environments. The Ploic are a logical and rational people and known as great engineers, scientists, and leaders. They have a strong culture around hygiene and have a notably bad cuisine. However, they are very adaptable and hospitable, and are willing to put in effort to cover their flaws for others.
The Hujka come from the Gox system in the Alliance of the Strip. The Hujka are on average 8 feet tall, but are very thin. They have light colored smooth skin. The have fast growing hair so often they have long hair. There is only sex in the Hujka people, and they reproduce through same sex reproduction. The Hujka have 7 gender identities. The Hujka are a very non-confrontational people, and have never had an army in there history. The Hujka are very relaxed and quiet. Many take jobs in the service industry.
The Jakkal come from Daylo, Difo, Ta, and Aink. All of them living under the Daylo Corporate. They are similiar to humans with the notable difference of dark red skin. The Jakkal are traders, but are known to be untrustworthy and pull scams. Because they live under a corporation most of the Jakkal are exploited fervently. However the Jakkal do not wish to stop the exploitation, they wish to be the exploiters. The Jakkal society is cutthroat, and in constant power struggle. Almost all Jakkal are plotting to become the one on top.
The Obadín come from the systems of Patria, Cas, and Bayho in the Obadín Protectorate. They have smooth light green skin. They are a tall people averaging 7ft tall. They are a strong people with a hard work ethic. The Obadín are a very spiritual people and value their religion and their culture. The Obadín follow a polytheistic religion, with 12 gods. After enduring a 30 year harsh dictatorship, their culture and religion were damaged heavily, but they are rebuilding it.
The Metaph people come from the systems of Prei, Tchang, and Kaanung, part of Metaphomi. They have smooth slimy green skin. They are an amphibious people and can breathe in water and on land. Their home planets are swamp planets. They require both land and water to live, those that leave their home planets must wear special helmets. The Metaph people are very nationalistic and would do anything to defend their country. Being one of the few people to win a war against She'gra, they have become proud and arrogant. However that war did decimate the population, and it still hasn't recovered.
The Cardavian come from the systems of Cenepra and Reabos, in the East of the Empire of Yhana. Cardavians are tall and broad shouldered people. They have smooth orange-red skin. The Cardavians are arrogant, and quick to anger, and canoften get into fights. The Cardavians are a simultaneously a very pragmatic people, they always take time to make the best decisions for themselves. They joined the Empire of Yhana willingly, and are loyal, but there's no doubt if they though it better to go against the Empire, they would.
The Tollek hail from the system of Crarth in the Empire of Yhana. They are a short, wide framed people. The Tollek have dry scaly dull green skin. The Tollek are hard workers to a fault, many overwork themselves to the point of damaging their health. Their extreme work ethic has allowed them to become amazing engineers, building great ships and superweapons. The Tollek people were not originally loyal to the Empress, but after decades of being part of the Empire many have developed the fervent loyalty of Empire citizens.
The Vie hail from the systems of Benai, Thajon, Tay, Trachu, and Xinchu, in the Vie Union. The Vie are a short and small framed people with smooth light skin. The Vie can move very fast, and are great at blending in. This makes them difficult foes to fight, and excellent scouts and spies. The Vie are usually quiet and held back, but when angered they become aggressive and hostile. The Vie are nationalistic, but do not outwardly show it.
The Shukati people come from the system of Uu, in the country of the same name. They are average sized people, with olive colored skin. Because of a plague 200 years ago all Shukati have a genetic defect that disfigured their face. Because of this all Shukati wear a special helmet, and are forbidden to take it off around outsiders. The Shukati have faced hardship after hardship with a major plague and a decades long civil war happening in the last two centuries. Many Shukati have become beaten down, and are quiet and reserved. But some are resilient, and enthusiastic to move forward, and work towards building a better and greater Uu.
The Khalen are from the systems of Knu, and Lon, in the nation of Khu. The Khalen are average sized people with brown feathers and light colored beaks. Because Khalen have arms and wings, they cannot fly, however if they tuck their arms into their wigs they can glide. The Khalen are used to discrimination and racism from other species, so they are often abrasive when dealing with non-Khalen. The Khalen are a loud and roudy people, tending to have large parties with alcohol involved.
The Liudzev are from the system of Dozd, in Sonca Sajuz. The Liudzev are an average sized people, with white skin, and long hair. The Liudzev only have one sex, and do not have gender identities. The Liudzev are a very cold, and calculating people. They have limited emotions, and do not show any extreme emotion to anyone but close friends or family members. The Liudzev are excellent strategists, and organizers.
The Rinian are from the system of Rine, in Ralla. The Rinian are an average sized people with light green skin, and no hair. The Rinian people have emotions to the extreme, and those who cannot control it have frequent mood swings. Rinian's can be very passionate, and go to any lengths to accomplish a goal, but making them your enemy means they'll turn that same energy towards destroying you.
The Dizillan hail from the system of Diff, in Zamak. They are an average sized reptilian people with a saturated green scaly skin. The Dizillan are a very conservative people, and want others to follow their traditions to a tee. This makes interactions with a Dizillan very difficult. The Dizillan are excellent weapons makers, and many have been contracted by various militaries.
The Xingana hail from the systems of Xane, Jorin, and Rast, in Welat. The Xingana are an tall skinny people with pale gray skin. The Xingana are a very science based people, with many dedicating their entire lives to research and development. The Xingana are a non-confrontational people, but they do sell their weapon designs to the Empire of Yhana.
The Jianshi come from the system of Yen, in Welat. The Jianshi are a average sized bulky people, with light skin. The Jianshi are a roudy people, who love to use alcohol and other drugs. The Jianshi are great engineers, many dedicating their lives to creating great structures. The most notable of the Jianshi structures is the Yen Star City, a massive star base used as a city. The Star City contains half the Jianshi population alone.
Denvlia are human like, with dark spot patterns on their arms and backs. Denvlia have acute eyesight and often see things others cannot. They're an ambitious people who seek to accomplish. Family is very important to them. The Denvlia come from the Deon system, and were one of the founding species in the Union of Space and the United Nations of the Galaxy.
The Elean come from Elea. They look almost like humans, but have ridges on their foreheads and a different physiology. They deal primarily in agriculture, so often they are built tough. They are a communal people and are always keen to share.
The Sylvian people come from Sylva. They are a tall skinny people with light skin. They have large pointed ears giving them amazing hearing. They value research and knowledge highly and are a very science based species. They can be very abrasive when it comes to outsiders, and those they see as unknowledgeable. They are of the founding species of the United Nations of the Galaxy
The Romna come from the system of Caygalia, in the UNG. They look very similar to humans, but they have long blue hair. There is three sexes in the species, and they have same sex reproduction. The Romna are very conservative and prefer to stick to their ways. They are of the founding species of the United Nations of the Galaxy.
The Taylithian people hail from the system of Tunia, in the UNG. They have rock-gray skin, and are tall with broad figures. In serious situations they act very rigid, but in loose situations they can act very roudy. They are very traditional, and tend to take offense when others break their traditions. They are a founding species of the United Nations of the Galaxy.
The Vastorum is not exactly a species, a more apt description would be a creature. The Vastorum is a hivemind creature, with only one mind. The hivemind comes from a tree on the Vasterra planet, and are of a Type I civilization. This tree produces humanoid creatures, each of which being a part of the hivemind. These humanoid creatures tall and skinny. They have slimy green transparent skin, so you can see it's internal organs. Only few of these creatures have made contact with the outside world, when they attacked a science ship in 2801. Since then a strict quarantine was placed on their system, and no other contact was made.
