「月のドロップス」　

　Drops of Moon　

「日本の有田焼を始めた朝鮮の陶工たちは祖国を想うため、いつもお皿には月の絵付けをしていた。」 このエピソードを想い野外での磁器によるインスタレーションをしてみました。ドロップが引っかかっている様子は小さな生き物たちが集っているようにも見えます。素材は今年、有田のアーティストインレジデンスに行ったときに枝にひっかかる形を磁器でつくっています。

“The Korean ceramists, who started ARITA ware in Japan, always painted the moon on plates in order to think of their motherland.” I did the installation with the porcelain in the forest thinking of this episode. The appearance that the drops are caught on a branch, also looks like small creatures are gathering. I made a form to be caught on a branch with porcelain as for the material when I was an artist-in-residence at ARITA this year.

森を歩いて行くと木に黄色いフワフワ柔らかいものがくっついています。木の太さや生え方でくっつかなかったり、形が変わったり、模様ができたりしてきます。自分でも考えつかないような形や法則ができてきたときに私は森と一体化した気分になります。　素材：養生カバー

Amulet membrane

As you walk through the forest, you will find yellow fluffy soft things sticking to the trees. Depending on the thickness and growth of the tree, they may not stick, their shapes may change, or a pattern may be formed. I feel united with the forest as I discover shapes and rules here that I couldn’t imagine by myself. Material: Protective covering
