PERSONALITY
Edward has inherited his mother's serious personality. His ingenuousness, however, derives from his father. A knight, he values honor, courage, integrity, and chivalry; he protected defenseless passengers on the Campania from Bizarre Dolls and prioritized the safety of women and children on lifeboats. He adheres to tradition and believes that women should dress conservatively. Edward is modest and deems himself unexceptional compared to his peers, whom he has profound respect for, such as Ciel for shouldering heavy responsibilities as the head of the Phantomhive house. As the Prefect of the Green House, Edward is earnest and trains strenuously to prepare for the role. According to Sebastian, Edward's a fast learner because he genuinely respects his superiors and models himself on them. Moreover, Edward's exceedingly protective and possessive of his sister; he's often angry when she's in the company of Ciel and he once threatened that, if any harm were to befall her, he wouldn't forgive Ciel.PERSONALITY
