Trip Summary:

The night in Nelspruit was cooler than the Kruger Park as it is located at a slightly higher altitude. 

Whenever I drive to or from Nelspruit, I like to detour from the N4 and travel via the quaint village of Kaapsehoop (see also Kaapsche Hoop) on the top of the Drakensberg.highveld escarpment where the wild horses live.  Today was no exception.  I was hoping that the restaurant at Kaapsehoop would be open by the time I arrived.  Unfortunately is was still closed so I continued my trip.  I did see the wild horse but they were a long distance away so I could not take photos.

The Kaapsehoop Pass winds up and down through the mountains and connects to the N4 near the SAPPI Wood Mill which was spewing out gases / vapour from every exhaust in the plant.  

I stopped at Milly's along the N4 for breakfast before taking the final stretch of road home.
