This is unfortunately my last day in the Kruger Park. I took a slow drive along the H4-2 from Lower Sabie to Crocodile Bridge before joining the N4 to Nelspruit.
Besides the common sightings, I did not see anything that caused me to stop and photograph.
Once on the N4, you immediately feel an increased sense of stress with all the traffic and large trucks.
Before heading to the Lakeview Lodge, I went to 3 different Auto Repair shops that advertised they service Defenders to look for a headlight relay for the Defender. One shop no longer existed and the other 2 did not keep spares. I decided that I would replace the relay when I get back home.
After checking into the Lakeview Lodge Caravan Park I drove to a lovely restaurant about 3 km away called Friends Cafe for a lunchtime snack.
I returned to the Caravan Park and setup my laptop to download photos and Garmin data for indexing. Vodacom reception was good so I could also work on my WEB site.

The Caravan Park is located on the edge of town along the Kaapsche Hoop road. This was the only camp site what I had not previously confirmed a booking as I was not 100% certain of my arrival date. Luckily I had arrived early and they were not very busy so a camp site was not an issue. There are about 10 long term campers resident in the park.
The park became busy at about 16h00 when travellers stopped by to setup camp for the night.
The Caravan Park is rustic with clean ablutions and well laid out camp sites with a water tap, power connection and braai facilities. The caravan park includes the Bush Baby Pub and Grill.
