Relics
《 General Relic Information 》
We have introduced the relics system as a way to encourage player exploration, war, and trading.
Relics are a symbol of a kingdom's power; the kingdom with the most relics will be crowned High King of Exilus. There are four main types of relics: static, scattered, kingdom, and signature. There are also an additional two types: god and custom. All can be lost in war or given away except for a kingdom's signature relic.
Static relics include things like spawners and portals. Static relics never move and must be protected when found. Players can build small buildings or grinders around them and claim them for their kingdom.
Scattered relics are hidden across the land and can be found and returned to a kingdom to be protected in their treasure room. They have four rarities that determine their overall power level and location difficulty. Relics can be a variety of items ranging from useless to incredibly powerful. These relics can be used in war if the relic is some sort of equipment, no matter the enchantments.
Kingdom relics are the three initial relics given to a kingdom when they formed. Each kingdom can customize these relics to their liking. They are usually related to a kingdom's lore and can often be as powerful as a legendary relic. They can be sold, traded, or given away as long as they aren't a kingdom's signature relic. Kingdom relics (aside from the signature relics) may also be used in war, but they can also be lost in war.
Signature relics are one of the three customized relics created when a kingdom is formed. This relic is protected and cannot be taken in wars but also cannot be traded, given away, sold, or used in wars.
God relics are relics given to kingdom members by the Gods for being a dedicated follower or completing certain tasks. They are essentially the same as scattered relics and have a rarity of epic or below.
Custom relics are relics custom-made for players and are given out as rewards for special occasions and events or earned in certain ways, such as killing 100 people as a rogue.
Important: When you find a relic make sure to send a modmail stating that it has been found. If it is a legendary relic, you must present all of the clues/riddles that you found in the process of finding the Relic and the voucher for the relic.
Note: If a relic is lost in an accident, it can be replaced at staff discretion. If the relic is deliberately lost, destroyed, or broken, it will not be replaced. If you edit a relic in any way, such as adding/removing enchantments or changing its name, it will no longer count as a relic and will not be added to your kingdom's total. You will not be given another and we reserve the right to take the item from you, create a new copy of the relic, and scatter it again as deemed necessary. This is a punishable offense.
《 Relic Rules 》
If you are a rogue and join a kingdom, you give up the rights to any relics you may own and they then belong to the kingdom. If you leave the kingdom afterwards, you cannot take your relics with you. Be careful with your choices.
If your kingdom has been established for three months or more and your kingdom falls, you can keep your kingdom relics (aside from your signature relic) and take them with you. You may do anything you like with these relics, including adding them to the relic count of another kingdom.
Relics discovered by kingdom members must immediately be surrendered to their kingdom. You cannot leave the relic where it was discovered and pick it up later or tip off another kingdom.
