Arcs are the official currency of Exilus. The concept of the name "arcs" came from the name of the world, Exilus, and more broadly, the Archipelago of Exilus, hence the name "arc". Arcs are a physical item added by a custom server resource pack. There are no plans to ever add or use a virtual currency.

There are three types of arcs:

Bronze Arc - (BA) | The lowest value arc. Ten of these is equal to one silver arc. One hundred bronze arcs are equal to a single gold arc.
Silver Arc - (SA) | The middle value arc. Ten of these is equal to one gold arc.
Gold Arcs - (GA) | The highest value arc.

All denominations of arc turn into a stack of arcs when you have 10 or more of them stacked together. This is only a cosmetic change.

Arcs can be obtained in a few ways, including:

• Events and competitions

• Completing Boons

• Buying them from the spawn shop with diamonds

• Finding them in dungeons or ruins

• Loot chests

• Fishing

• Trading diamonds -> Arcs

Potential Future Ways to obtain Arcs:

• Quests, raids, and bosses

• Outstanding roleplay

Arcs can buy:

• Claim blocks for your kingdom

• Custom heads

• Custom food and drink recipes

• Hard-to-obtain Minecraft items

• Custom items

• Custom maps

• Instruments

• Custom music discs

• Other shop items

Arcs may also be used as regular currency in trade with other players.

Diamonds → Arcs:

Arcs can be obtained with diamonds as well, though the conversion rate of diamonds to arcs is very steep and will change from time to time as Exilus' economy grows and evolves. To trade your diamonds for arcs, simply travel to spawn and find the Spawn Shop. There is a dedicated villager for diamond-to-arc conversion.

Note: Diamonds may be converted to gold arcs, but gold arcs may not be converted to diamonds.
