Someone was definitely thinking like a Kinder when creating a programmable rolling ball that is waterproof and can crash into things without damage! With the new launch of the new Sphero Bolt, setting up and using this robot just got easier.
Through SpheroEDU, teachers have a variety of resources and lesson plans that are arranged by category and grade level. Like some of the other robots, Sphero's level of coding grows with our students. Although in Kindergarten they may be starting with driving through mazes, practicing letters or creating art pieces, you'd be surprised how many 5 year-olds start experimenting with the visual block coding.
A grid that we used for an unplugged activity quickly became a favourite when introducing the Sphero.
