Robotics
Now let's be honest...robots are cool. Ever since I thought that "Number 5 [was] alive" I wanted to play with robots, but I never had the opportunity (outside of science museums) to use one.

What's even cooler is that now robots allow our students to see their programs in a 3-d, real-life setting. We're no longer just coding something on a computer (I remember the Logo triangle days from my youth), but are bringing something to life outside of the box.

Robots that used to be hosted on science websites or robotics catalogs are now becoming a staple in our classes. The Kinders Who Code program has a select few favourites: Beebots, Ozobots, and Dash&Dot, but the list is always growing (and more will be added as we go down this coding path together).
