Essential Beliefs are essential - must haves. In order to be a follower of Jesus, you must believe these things. Essential Beliefs are what we believe about God and Jesus and God's rescue plan for us.
Essential Beliefs About the Bible:
The Bible is God's Word written by human authors with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
The Bible is true.
The Bible shows us God's rescue plan.
The verses that tell us these beliefs are:
Psalm 119:11 I have stored up your word In my heart, that I might not sin against you.
John 14:15 If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
