• Read Romans 3:23 together. 

Talk About It...

• Sin is anything we think, say, or do that does not please God. 

• The verse above tells us that everyone sins. Ask each other what are ways that we sin. Think about a specific example of a time you thought, said, or did something that you knew would not be pleasing to God. 

• Jesus came to rescue us from our sins and make us clean again. Does that mean we no longer sin? If we still sin, then what does it mean that we are clean? (Jesus took the punishment for our sins, so God sees us as clean as Jesus is!)

• Thank God for sending Jesus to rescue us from our sin, to forgive us, and make us clean again!
