Carers

Carers are individuals, family, whānau and āiga providing care for someone close to them who needs additional assistance with their everyday living because of a disability, health condition, illness or injury.

• Read - This page links to selected documents, books, and journal articles, and documents on carers issues. This page also provides a link to the latest journal article literature.

• Research - This page links to places you can go for more information on carers. It can act as a starting point for your own research. It also links you to New Zealand/International Organisations and Databases on carers.
