As a part of the Instructional Design course USMx LDT400x, we were tasked with creating an Online Scorecard and Quality Matters rubric. Both are linked down below under the requirements for each assignment.
Address the following key elements in this assignment:
Build an online scorecard used to evaluate the instructional design of your capstone project.
Identify the criteria that will be used in your scorecard.
Be sure you detail the descriptive areas for each area, so a check can be given without subjective debate.
Scorecard format: May follow any format you wish, the most important part of this activity rests on the criteria of your scorecard.
Provide an executive summary: State whether you will be using a scorecard or rubric in the evaluation of your capstone project/ presentation. Executive summary will also review your capstone assignment.
Rubric Criteria
Your rubric should contain at least 6 categories (instructional design, assignments, assessment, engagement, collaboration…etc).
The categories you choose should be based on characteristics of a good online course as discussed in class.
For each category, you should have at least 3 levels (poor, good, perfect).
Your levels should be easily measurable (they apply to similar types of online courses and are not subjective).
For each category, you have a clear description so that another user should be able to use your rubric to evaluate an online course
