Leyte is classified as a 1st class province. They began its partnership with the DSWD KALAHI-CIDSS program in 2004. To date, a total of 5,682 Sub-Projects has been completed, with a total KC investment of 3,850,960,039.47. Meanwhile, the local government of Leyte, through its municipalities, has contributed 310,408,369.92 as their counterpart funding

for the implementation of KALAHI-CIDSS

projects.
