When setting up or logging into PowerSchool you will be asked for the school district code. South Bend School District's code is:

• XCHK (all caps)

In order to login into your students PowerSchool information, parents/guardians must obtain the following unique information in-person from John Adams High School. Parents/guardians must present a valid picture ID:

1. Access ID
2. Password

UPDATING YOUR CONTACT INFO for ALL CALL MESSAGES from School:

Below are the instructions to update which of your phone numbers receive alerts (all call phone dialers) from your students school. You can also change it to receive email or texts.

Log into powerschoolhttps://powerschool.sbcsc.k12.in.us/guardian/home.html

(you must have password provided by school office)

1. On the top right side are four buttons you want the first one (hover over) and you'll see 'applications' appear.

2. Contact manager

3. Contact ~ tab

4. Under actions - select edit (you can make changes to one student and have it apply to all)

5. Make any changes to the phone numbers, you can also switch it so you get the notification texted to you.

6. select "save to all contacts"

7. Save

IOS and Android Apps:

Powerschool is also available using an App for both IOS (Apple devices) and Android devices. There is a 'Parent' and 'Student' version of the apps.
