“Where to next, Milo?” Ben asked, as the magical globe started to spin with its golden light.
“How about India?” Milo replied. “A land of vibrant colors, ancient history, and incredible wonders!”
With a swirl of magic, Lila and Ben found themselves in bustling Delhi, the capital of India. Waiting for them was a cheerful guide named Priya.
“Namaste! Welcome to India,” Priya greeted them. “Are you ready for an unforgettable adventure?”
Their first stop was the magnificent Red Fort, a grand structure made of red sandstone.
“This fort was built by Emperor Shah Jahan,” Priya explained. “He’s also the one who built the Taj Mahal!”
They marveled at the intricate carvings and explored the fort’s impressive courtyards.
Next, they visited the India Gate, a towering war memorial surrounded by lush gardens.
“This is where people come to relax and pay their respects,” Priya said.
A quick magical hop with Milo brought them to Agra, home of the iconic Taj Mahal.
“Wow, it’s even more beautiful than in pictures!” Lila exclaimed.
Priya shared its story: “It’s a symbol of love, built by Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It’s made entirely of white marble and glows beautifully at sunrise and sunset.”
Ben couldn’t stop snapping pictures as they explored the gardens and admired the reflecting pool.
Their next stop was the Ranthambore National Park, one of India’s famous tiger reserves.
“Do you think we’ll see a tiger?” Ben asked excitedly.
“If we’re lucky!” Priya said.
As they rode through the park, they spotted deer, peacocks, and a majestic Bengal tiger lounging under a tree.
In Jaipur, they visited the stunning Hawa Mahal, or “Palace of Winds.”
“This palace has 953 windows!” Priya said. “It was built so royal ladies could watch street festivals without being seen.”
They also explored the Amber Fort, riding an elephant up to its gates. The fort’s halls shimmered with mirrors and gold.
Returning to Delhi, Priya took them to a bustling market where they tried samosas, spicy snacks, and the sweet treat gulab jamun.
“Indian food is so flavorful!” Lila said.
“And don’t forget the spices,” Priya added. “India is famous for them!”
Ben picked out some spices and a small figurine of an elephant to take home.
Their last destination was Varanasi, one of the oldest cities in the world.
“This city is sacred to Hindus,” Priya said. “People come here to pray along the Ganges River.”
They watched as colorful lamps floated on the river during the Ganga Aarti ceremony, a beautiful ritual of light and devotion.
As their adventure came to an end, Lila and Ben thanked Priya for showing them the wonders of India.
“India is full of life and history,” Ben said. “I’ll never forget it!”
“And there’s still so much more to see,” Priya said with a smile.
With a swirl of magic, Milo whisked them home, leaving them dreaming of the vibrant colors, rich traditions, and unforgettable experiences of India.
