Englewood Public Schools District has provided students with very high tech laptops. These computers costs about $1,000 each.Computers are very expensive and we should be thankful that our school provides us with such advanced technology.

Students, YOU should think if this was your computer. We should be more careful and more responsible with our laptops! Students were complaining about dents, pencil/marker marks, and that there are missing keys on the keyboard. Please make sure that you are respectful towards all school property!

In addition to our MacBooks, we have access to Smart Boards. Smart Boards are the new “white boards” and we are fortunate to have them as great educational tools. The Smart Board is a screen that allows one to write on it with special pens that are provided when you buy it. I have seen people be really careful when writing on the Smart Board but some students do not care about the educational tools provided for them and put force on the pens. Please be careful with them as they are expensive and very difficult to replace!

Thankfully, as technology has been updating, so have our teachers strategies to help us learn! Schoology and Google Classroom are used world-wide and are used in this school. This makes the process of handing out homework way easier than before. We will need to pay more attention instead of talking with your friends so you won’t have to make the teacher repeat the instructions.
