The MLK Jr Assembly was brought to us by Hiphop Fundamentals. The group reminded us of what African Americans went through historically and how racial issues are still a problem in our society today. They showed everyone that this problem can be solved just by being kind and respecting others.
This ground-breaking program focuses on student involvement in the American Civil Rights movement through dance, audience participation, and a variety of interactive activities. They tackled issues centered on racism, segregation, and the struggle for freedom in a safe, fun, and student friendly atmosphere of Hip Hop
