OUR MISSION

JCI NORTH JERSEY is a 501c4 non profit leadership organization, a local chapter of Junior Chamber International (JCI), a global nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering young people to create positive change through leadership development and community service. Operating within the northern region of New Jersey, JCI North Jersey focuses on fostering active citizenship, personal growth, and social responsibility among its members.

Founded in 2014, the chapter has been instrumental in organizing various community initiatives, leadership programs, and events aimed at making a meaningful impact locally and beyond.

The chapter's activities encompass a wide range of projects, including educational seminars, financial wellness workshops, and collaborative efforts with other organizations to support underserved communities. Through these endeavors, JCI North Jersey continues to inspire and equip young individuals to lead and serve with purpose.

Part of JCI's training is learning how to handle operations and fundraisers to gain the ways and means for the organization's operations.

2014-10 Christmas in October

JCI North Jersey initiated a fundraiser at the OctoberPhest Festival in Downtown Jersey dubbing the project as The Giving Tree. The fundraiser is for their Christmas goal which is to provide essential/basic items for the homeless in 6 shelters in Jersey City.
