To learn how you can contribute and make a meaningful impact for others—or to first explore what you can personally or professionally develop within yourself—join our Monthly General Membership Meeting. Stay informed on recent events, discover upcoming opportunities, and see what’s ahead for you, the organization, the community, and the world.

Please note that many of our current board members are leading members’ meetings for the first time. This is an intentional part of their leadership development, providing hands-on experience in running effective and impactful meetings.

For General Membership Meetings

Area: Internal/Membership

Location: Hybrid. You may join in-person or via Zoom.
Focus:

For GMMs/General Membership Meetings:
- The GMM for 2026 is open to JCI North Jersey members only and board-approved guests.
- If you wish to attend or if you wish to bring a guest, contact VP who will request a board approval. Please note that the board reserves the right to decline a guest and your understanding is highly appreciated.

Are you a new member and not sure where to start?

Attend your first GMM. Observe. Learn. Create a note, an email, or a comment to the VP.
Members and guests may convene for any committee discussions or personal interactions after the GMM.

On your Second GMM and want to make a better impact for these initiatives?

- Join the committee. Contact the VP above.
- You will be added to a WhatsApp Committee Group
- Contribute an idea and make a meaningful impact.

Chairmanship:
- The Chairmanship of the GMM is reserved for the Director or VP of Internal/Membership.
- The chairman may create a "Call for Committee Members". The committee is open to members and non-members regardless of age, gender, status.
- The chairperson reserves the right to call for a meeting to discuss needed resources to make a better meeting.

President and VP's Responsibility:
- The President and VP of Area are defacto members of any committee meetings.

For Orientations and Membership Social Activity

Area: Internal/Membership

Focus:
- Provide Orientation#01 for new members
  - that creates clarity of the value of the organization
  - and how the organization can specfically tailor workshops to provide personal and professional trainings that the members request.
- Provide Orientation#02 for leadership growth
  - and how members can understand the Active Citizenship Framework by doing:
    - Community Needs Analysis, Creating a Project Guide, Implmentation.
- Provide Membership Activities
  - that creates enjoyment within the members

Limitations/Requirements:

- Open to JCI North Jersey members only.
