🌱 A Meaningful Milestone for ASENSO

JCI North Jersey proudly celebrates the successful community feeding program under ASENSO: Seeds of Opportunity in Gingoog City, Misamis Oriental, Philippines, where approximately 800 children and youth were served through the collective efforts of the ASENSO Committee, local government units, volunteers, and community partners.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to ASENSO co-chair Rita Smilios, our sponsors Gretz Jewelry and Pamana Threads, and everyone who contributed their time, resources, and support to make this meaningful activity possible.

On August 6, 2026, JCI North Jersey was honored to share a meaningful evening with Senator Estrellita “Neng” Juliano-Tamano, Honorary Chairperson of the Philippine Jaycee Senate Foundation and the first woman to receive this distinction. Her continued commitment to mentorship and developing the next generation of leaders truly embodies the Jaycee spirit.

Joining the gathering were Sen. Penn Baluyut, Sen. Richard Rillera, Sen. Jocelyn Bernal, Sen. Ria Serrano, Sen. Pops Gumana-Fruylan, PP Fermin Fruylan, SR/LIVP Connie Sianoya, Past Treasurer Vian Pasia, Kreena Poquita-Manalo, and Rita Smilios.

Our heartfelt thanks to Sen. Penn Baluyut for bringing everyone together and helping make this special dinner possible, and to Pres. Charlene Mae Bornea and SR/LIVP Connie Sianoya for helping coordinate this memorable gathering.

It was a wonderful evening of fellowship and inspiration, celebrating the enduring spirit of leadership and mentorship while keeping the Jaycee torch burning brightly for future generations.

Executive Vice President Aishwarya Narasimhadevara represented JCI North Jersey at the closing session of the JCI Global Youth Summit, joining young leaders from around the world in celebrating collaboration and impact. The summit attested JCI's commitment to ensuring young leaders integral catalysts in societal development.

A memorable meet-up with 2026 JCI World Congress Director Sen. Luis Angelo “LA” Sevilla and Sen. Miko Palarca at the JCI Global Leaders Connect: Impact and Diplomacy Socials, following Day 1 of the JCI Global Youth Summit.

Our meaningful conversations strengthened our shared excitement for the 2026 JCI World Congress, happening November 11-15 in Clark, Pampanga, Philippines. JCI North Jersey looks forward to joining fellow Jaycees from around the world for an inspiring celebration of leadership, friendship, and global impact.

Indeed, together, we make great things happen!

JCI North Jersey was honored to participate in the 2026 PAFCOM Grand Parade as we celebrated the spirit of community, unity, and Filipino-American pride.

Maraming salamat to everyone who marched with us and made our participation special. Special thanks to Sen. Vivian Velasco, @dustin_runs of Pinoy Runners of New Jersey, Gov. John Sohn, Mrs. Veronica Lavarro, Sen. Gary Abasolo, Sen. Moppet Nucum, and Jelin Asamoah for your presence, support, and shared spirit of community.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to Sen. Lee Clemente for making our parade entry possible, and to COB Jaimie Natividad for helping us secure our parade shirts. We would also like to thank Je Olaguera for generously hosting our meetup and for her warm hospitality.
