This weeks reading was all about research. It began with how research can be overwhelming. I appreciated the author gave some tips on how to narrow down the topic in which you should be research. The author mentioned that you should research something you have a question about, or want more information on.
Once we have picked a topic we should answer simple questions, such as who does this information relate to, and why should they care about this topic? It is easy to get information on a topic and include it in your paper. However, if you attempt to think about the audience your writing to you can then be more profound and elaborate on the subject you chose to research. Also, by answering questions your audience might have on the subject shows you are thoroughly knowledgeable on what you are writing about.
Research can be scary! I think anyone has trouble narrowing down a subject even if you are an experienced writer! I found it helpful to read through this article for guidance!
