This week we are reading about the revision process. This article explains that we as author's should take into account who our audience is and why they should care about the topic. You should explain to the audience why you chose this topic as well.
The whole point of self reflective writing is understand how you as the author feel about what you have written. For many people writing is a therapeutic process. Rereading what you write and why could have you feeling vulnerable. However, it is healthy to go back and remember what you were feeling in that moment and why you chose to share it with the audience.
Writing can be a release for many people. There are also many different ways to express your self through writing. Some examples include memoirs, novels, and journaling. What ever the artists chooses, they should eventually go back and reflect on their work.
