Jasmine Singh is currently attending her first semester at Sacramento State, and was really looking forward to go on campus and experiencing the college life. (Hopefully that will still be possible sooner rather than later)
She recently graduated from Delta College Spring 2020 with an AA in Liberal Studies. Jasmine is majoring in liberal studies and hoping to become a teacher, when she is done with her schooling. It took her awhile to figure out exactly what she wanted to go to school for. After some trial and error someone suggested that she become a teacher. She loves children, and would enjoy guiding them through their educational experience.
Aside from school, Jasmine enjoys spending time with her two huskies, and being outside, preferably some where near the water. She also keeps busy with working part time.
She wishes you are all well and safe. Hopefully we all will get to meet in the near future.
By completing the literacy narrative assignment I was able to reflect on what inspired me to become a future teacher. At first, I struggled staying on topic. It was clear to my audience as well that I had not properly answered the prompt and was unsure of what I was writing about.
Getting feed back from my peers and professor was helpful. Reading their comments allowed me to see what exactly I did right and what could use some improvement. They even advised me on the topic I should focus on throughout the paper. After revising and much improvement, I am proud to turn in my final draft.
