一寸法師

一寸法師 "Issun Boushi"

要旨:とても小さい一寸法師はおじいさんとおばあさんの家を出て川を渡って京都の街へ行き、大きな家のお姫様の家来になる。ある花見の日、鬼が出てきてお姫様を食べようとした。一寸法師は鬼を退治してお姫様を助け、鬼が忘れていった魔法の打ち出の小づちでお姫様と結婚することになり、二人は街にも故郷にも幸せを運ぶ。

Summary: A very small one-inch character leaves the house of his grandfather and grandmother, crosses the river to the city of Kyoto, and becomes a servant of the princess. One day, a demon comes out and tries to eat the princess. He defeats the demon and saves the princess and marries the princess with the magical wand of the demon that the demon has left, and the two bring happiness to both the city and their hometown.  Created 2016

笠地蔵

笠地蔵 Kasa Jizo

要旨:正月なのにお餅も何もない夫婦は、笠を編んで町で売ることにしたが、町では誰もおじいさんから笠を買わなかった。その帰り道、雪の降る中に立っている石のお地蔵さんにおじいさんは売れなかった笠を全部かぶせてあげた。すると不思議なことが起きた。

Summary: The couple, who have no rice cakes on New Year's Day, decide to knit hats and sell them in town, but no one buys a hat from him. On the way back, the old man puts all the unsold hats on the stone Jizo standing in the snow. Then something strange happens.

かぐや姫 Princess Kaguya

要旨:竹から産まれたかぐや姫はおじいさんとおばあさんに育てられ大人になる。結婚を申し込んで来た男達には無理なお願いをし、誰もかぐや姫の要望に答えられず、そうしている間に月からお迎えが来てかぐや姫は去っていく。

Summary: Princess Kaguya, born from bamboo, raised by an old man and an old woman, becomes an adult. She makes  unreasonable requests to the seven men who ask for marriage, and no one could answer the request of Princess Kaguya, and while doing so, the moon picked her up leaves the earth. 因幡のしろうさぎ

因幡のしろうさぎ Inaba White Rabbit

要旨:海の向こうにある因幡に行って美味しい草をたくさん食べたかったしろうさぎは一直線に並んだサメ達の背中を跳んで渡って夢をかなえる。ところがそれに使われて怒ったサメ達はしろうさぎの皮を剥ぎ取った。浜に倒れていた重傷なしろうさぎを助けに来たのは悪い神様や良い神だった。ついにしろうさぎは助けてくれた良い神様と因幡で一緒に暮らす。

Summary: The rabbit, who wants to go to Inaba over the sea and eat a lot of delicious grass, jumps over the backs of the sharks in a straight line and fulfills his dream. However, the angry sharks peel off the skin of the rabbit. It was a bad God and a good God who came to help the seriously injured rabbit that had fallen on the beach. Finally, the rabbit lives with the good go who helped him in Inaba.

さるかに合戦 Monkey and Crab Battle

要旨:ある日、蟹がおむすびを持っていた。それを見た猿は、美味しい柿が実ると言って柿の種とおむすびを交換し、猿は一人でおむすびを蟹の前で美味しそうに食べた。蟹は交換した柿の種を子供たちと上手に育てたくさん柿を実らせたが木に登って穫ることができない。そこで、猿に頼んだが猿は硬い柿を木から蟹に投げた。蟹の友達は悪い猿を懲らしめた。その後、蟹は猿を許しみんなで仲良く暮らした。


Summary: One day, a crab was holding a rice ball. When the monkey saw this, he exchanged the rice balls for persimmon seeds, saying that they would produce delicious persimmons, and the monkey ate the rice balls alone in front of the crab, looking delicious. Crab successfully grows the persimmon seeds she exchanged with her children and produces many persimmons, but she can't climb the tree to harvest them. So she asked the monkey, but the monkey threw a hard persimmon from the tree to the crab. The crab friend punished the bad monkey. After that, the crab forgave the monkey and all lived in harmony.
